Jesse Norman

Jesse Norman is the Member of Parliament for Hereford and South Herefordshire, and a Senior Fellow of Policy Exchange. He received his BA from Oxford University, and his MPhil and PhD from University College London, where he was an Honorary Fellow. He was awarded Parliamentarian of the Year and Backbencher of the Year in 2012.

Prior to entering politics Jesse ran a charitable project in Communist Eastern Europe, was a director at Barclays, and researched and taught philosophy for six years. He is a frequent op-ed contributor in the national press, has written numerous pamphlets and papers, including "Compassionate Conservatism", and blogs on www.jessenorman.com. This is his first biography.
