British Academy to host Samuel Johnson Prize shortlist event

2 September 2015

We are delighted to announce that the British Academy will be hosting the Samuel Johnson Prize 2015 shortlisted authors at a public event on Tuesday 27 October. The week before the winner announcement, the event will be chaired by James Naughtie (BBC Radio 4's Today Programme), and offers attendees the chance to hear from the authors, followed by an audience Q&A and a book signing.

The event is free, but registration is required. Further information is available here.

The British Academy for the humanities and social sciences was established by Royal Charter in 1902. Its purpose is to inspire, recognise and support excellence and high achievement in the humanities and social sciences, throughout the UK and internationally, and to champion their role and value.
