2015 shortlist to be announced at public Southbank Centre event

The Samuel Johnson Prize is pleased to announce that our shortlist will be revealed at a public event at London's Southbank Centre as part of London Literature Festival on Sunday 11 October.

Featuring representatives from the judging panel, as well as special guest Helen Macdonald, who won the prize in 2014, members of the public will be among the first to learn the shortlist for the 2015 edition of the UK's leading prize for non-fiction.

The longlist for the Samuel Johnson Prize 2015 will be announced on Tuesday 22 September.
