Samuel Johnson Prize collaborates with the Reading Agency

For the first time, the Samuel Johnson Prize for Non-Fiction is collaborating with the Reading Agency to allow six library-linked reading groups from across the UK to read and review the shortlisted books. The reviews will be posted on the Reading Agency’s Reading Groups for Everyone website – www.readinggroups.org – and on the Samuel Johnson Prize website.

If you are in a reading group and would like to apply to take part, please visit https://readinggroups.org/offers/sj-prize.html. The deadline for applications is 4pm on Wednesday 17 October. Six successful reading groups will be notified after the deadline and each group will be sent 12 copies of one of the shortlisted titles. Groups are asked to submit reviews of no more than 200 words by Monday 3 December. A selection of reviews will be published on the Samuel Johnson Prize and Reading Groups for Everyone website.
